Southern Remedy is a west Georgia based band that represents the best in Americana music. The musicians in the group are the real deal, longtime players who have lived the music, didn’t just hear it on the radio.

Hundreds of recordings and thousands of live shows throughout the U.S. and Europe have prepared Southern Remedy to be the top choice for post-pandemic entertainment. The seasoned professionals have shared stages with the elite of the musical world, such as Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker Band, Percy Sledge, Travis Tritt, Wet Willie, and countless others. We have appeared in a Hollywood movie and TV commercials, as well as performing extensively at festivals, concerts, stage productions and large and small venues. The vast musical experiences that comprise Southern Remedy are unique in 2022. The players grew up playing first generation rock & roll, blues, and country music…Americana music.

Jim Findley is a dream drummer. Jim is famous for his perfect, steady tempos and groove-playing. Jonathan Dorsey is a multi-instrumentalist, singer song-writer who writes much of the group’s original repertoire and shares lead guitar licks when not playing keyboards. Robert Powers is a force in the Carrollton Georgia music scene. Robert sings, plays guitar, as well as handling the group’s sound and booking gigs. Phil Coley has made a career in music since attending Berklee College of Music and hitting the road with a show band. Phil plays lead guitar and sings. Phil played the character “Hubcap” in a long series of Hardee’s TV commercials and wrote the jingle for their Rise and Shine Biscuit promotion. Gary Duke plays bass and sings. Gary is a veteran of several genres of American music and has played extensively for decades.
